Common questions
Where are my documents stored?
Mobile app:on your device. On Android, files are encrypted in the app’s private storage. On iOS, metadata is encrypted and document files may sync to your personal iCloud (optional). Docrux servers never store your files.
Do I need an account?
No sign-in is required for the mobile app. The website is for information, legal policies, and support contact only.
How do I delete my data?
Mobile: delete your documents, then uninstall the app. If you used iCloud or Google Drive sync, also remove the Docrux folder from that cloud account. We hold no copies on our servers.
Legacy web vault:if you used the old browser app, delete the “Docrux” folder from Google Drive and revoke access in Google account permissions.
Is Docrux free?
The free tier includes 20 documents, 5 active checklists, and all core features. An optional Pro subscription is available for higher limits, custom fields, and Google Drive import.
My document expired. Will Docrux remind me?
Yes. The mobile app sends on-device notifications at 90, 30, and 7 days before expiry, and on the day of expiry. Reminders apply to documents with an expiry date set (not Essentials fields alone).
Can I share a document?
On mobile, open a document and tap the share icon to send it via the native share sheet (AirDrop, Mail, Messages, etc.).
